# a Lusorquídeas - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `lusorquideas.com` ## Description The Portuguese Orchidophilia Association (A.P.O.) is Portugal’s first association dedicated to orchids. Founded in 2007, it promotes knowledge, appreciation and cultivation of orchids, with practical guidance tailored to conditions in Portugal. The association brings together orchid enthusiasts and helps newcomers learn through free workshops held around the country, where participants can explore plant care, ask questions and build their skills. A.P.O. organises international orchid exhibitions and sales in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra, as well as events in other locations and in Salvaterra do Minho, Spain. Its programme also includes local enthusiast gatherings, talks and educational activities. The association publishes Lusorquídeas, a quarterly magazine focused on orchids and their cultivation, and offers resources through its online shop, including an introductory book about growing Cymbidium. Through its events, publications and community activities, A.P.O. supports orchid growing and the wider orchid-loving community in Portugal. Membership provides a way to connect with the association and receive information about its activities. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🪴 Home and Garden - 🪴 Gardening _(under Home and Garden)_ ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/APOrquidofilia) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/APOrquidofilia) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/APOrquidofilia) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idBSEroTvr/w/2048/h/2048/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790845787640) - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idBSEroTvr/w/800/h/800/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790845787028) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Buddha Gold | #a8ad00 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Anakiwa | #8bcffd | light | ## Fonts - proxima — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
