LVUL, or Las Vegas Urban League, is a community action agency established in 2003 by philanthropist Jacqulyn Shropshire. Their mission is to empower and provide equal opportunities for low-income individuals in Clark County, NV. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, LVUL is governed by a Board of Directors and actively engages the community to identify critical needs and develop innovative solutions.

They are committed to eradicating the conditions that lead to poverty and strive to provide all racial, cultural, and ethnic populations with equal opportunities for self-sufficiency. LVUL is an affiliate of the National Urban League, recognized as a premier social service and civil-rights organization in the United States. In addition, LVUL offers Notary Public Services for important document signings, providing this service for free to their customers.
