# lwsdirectory.com - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `lwsdirectory.com` ## Description The Directory of Letter Writing Societies is a resource that helps people find local communities centered on letter writing and correspondence. Created in 2019 by Megan Hillman Donovan, founder and former letter-writer-in-chief of the Colorado Correspondence Coalition, the directory connects letter writers with groups where they can write together. It features societies across the United States, including clubs in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, and many other states, as well as listings in Canada, Europe, and New Zealand. Groups have varied names and local identities, reflecting interests in handwritten letters, stationery, snail mail, and correspondence. The site also encourages visitors to start their own letter writing society, extending its purpose beyond simply locating existing chapters. Organizations can contact the directory to request a listing or correct information, and visitors can reach out through the provided email and Instagram links. Some entries are marked inactive, helping users distinguish them from other listings. Overall, the directory offers a practical starting point for finding or building a local letter writing community. ## Industries - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Public Records and Directories _(under Reference Materials)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/lwsdirectory) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idiIKFRD-l/w/820/h/820/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793241621984) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idiIKFRD-l/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793241622084) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #dd1f26 | accent | | Lochmara | #0288d1 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Nunito — asset _(google)_ - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
