## Description

Lynn Community Impact is an Oklahoma City nonprofit focused on improving community health and well-being through education, nourishment, and connection. Formerly known as the Lynn Institute, the organization works with neighbors and community partners to help build healthier people and stronger communities across Oklahoma. Its programs address three key needs: food security, health and wellness education, and support for at-risk youth.

To increase access to nutritious food, Lynn Community Impact runs a community garden, distributes food, provides nutrition education, and collaborates with local organizations. The garden also offers a place for volunteers to learn and connect; last season, it shared 14,000 pounds of produce with neighbors. The organization’s health and wellness initiatives provide educational opportunities, health resources, mentorship, wellness programs, and supportive spaces for children, youth, and families. Its youth programs emphasize mentorship, learning, leadership development, confidence, and practical skills.

Lynn Community Impact also hosts classes, conversations, shared meals, and community events.
