# Lyseng Taekwondo - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `lysengtaekwondo.dk` ## Description Lyseng Taekwondo Klub is a community martial arts club based in Viby J, Aarhus, welcoming children, young people and adults from the age of five. Training takes place in the club’s own dojang on Gunnar Clausens Vej, with sessions for beginners and experienced practitioners. Newcomers can attend for two weeks free of charge, without registering in advance or buying equipment; comfortable clothing and bare feet are enough to get started. The weekly programme includes children’s and family training, adult classes, competition training, independent practice and technique training. Students develop foundational techniques such as strikes, kicks and blocks, practise poomsae sequences, learn controlled sparring and explore self-defence. Training is suited to individual ability, whether participants are trying taekwondo for the first time, returning after a break or seeking opportunities to compete. The club offers a welcoming setting for individuals and families, with a main training space of approximately 300 square metres, a smaller dojang, and areas for social activities.
