Stay updated with the latest news and events from M2 Film Lab. Also, don't miss out on the M2 Film Development Program 2023, a collaboration with Film Independent and the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Global Media Makers program. This program offers filmmakers working on their first or second feature-length films a unique opportunity for face-to-face script workshops, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and online film screenings to develop their projects over the course of a year. Selected project teams will engage in intense script work with GMM mentors Ruth Atkinson and Neal Dhand, as well as filmmaker Ali Vatansever from Turkey. The program includes a 5-day session in Istanbul in August, followed by ongoing mentorship in scriptwriting, production, distribution, and marketing until May 2024, allowing filmmakers to enhance both their skills and projects in sync with the industry.
