## Description

Maaike Reimert Fine Art is the portrait practice of emerging artist Maaike Reimert, whose work explores identity, emotion and the distinctive qualities that make each person unique. Working in pencil and oil, she creates refined drawings and expressive painted portraits that are described as delicate, honest and sometimes raw. Her approach is empathetic, aiming to capture the essence and give a voice to the people she portrays.

The brand offers original oil paintings and drawings, alongside commissioned portraits made in collaboration with clients. These commissions are intended to celebrate loved ones and preserve a meaningful likeness as both a personal memory and a tribute to individual character. Reimert’s subjects reveal varied human experiences, from the intensity of an executive chef at work to the layered emotions in a young girl’s expression.

Visitors can explore selected works, shop paintings and drawings, and enquire about commissions through the website. Reimert’s work has been selected for the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists Annual Exhibition 2024 and the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2023.
