## Description

Maarssen on Ice is a seasonal winter event in Maarssen, organised by Stichting Evenementen Stichtse Vecht with support from sponsors, donors and volunteers. Its ice rink at Park Goudestein welcomes visitors during the winter season, with the 2026–27 event scheduled to run from 4 December to 3 January. Guests can check the website for current opening hours, events, ticket information, prices and house rules, and buy admission tickets online.

Alongside public skating, Maarssen on Ice offers skating lessons, children’s party bookings and a programme of social events. These include bingo evenings, a pub quiz and “Sterren op het ijs,” featuring performers from the region. Visitors can also register four-person teams for curling, with options for business, women’s, men’s, neighbourhood or friends’ teams. The curling fee includes a stew buffet at the final. Children’s party packages include rink admission, skate hire, fries with a choice of snack, lemonade and sweets. Food and drinks are available at the bar, with payment handled through event tokens.
