## Description

The MacArthur Society of West Point Graduates is an organization of West Point alumni concerned about the direction of the United States Military Academy. Its mission is to preserve, defend, and advocate for West Point’s history, purpose, and principles of Duty, Honor, Country. The Society describes its role as stewardship of the Academy’s heritage and advocates returning West Point to what it considers its fundamental purpose: preparing officers to lead soldiers and win wars.

Its priorities include merit-based admissions, leadership focused on military effectiveness, ending diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and critical race theory instruction, greater transparency in response to federal information requests, and consistent enforcement of the Cadet Honor Code. The organization shares its views through news articles, newsletters, books, courses, and commentary by Society members and other authors. It also hosts Commanders Call programs, featuring guest speakers and online events, and offers ways for graduates and supporters to join its mailing list, sign petitions, participate in advocacy, and donate.
