## Description

The Mackenzie Rose Foundation is a charitable organization established in 2020 to support families navigating a child’s cancer diagnosis. Its work centers on providing “Kenzie Kits,” tote bags tailored to the needs of children and their families. The kits include essential items for parents during a hospital stay, helping them focus on their child’s health and treatment. The foundation has partnered with the oncology unit at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, to deliver kits in bulk. It also creates more personalized kits intended to bring children moments of joy and happiness during treatment. Families who could benefit from this support are encouraged to contact the foundation. The organization raises funds to fill and distribute the kits, and its website features information about recent events, ways to donate, and the Kenzie Rose Youth Triathlon. Through practical supplies and thoughtful, personalized items, the Mackenzie Rose Foundation aims to offer comfort and encouragement to children receiving cancer treatment and the families caring for them.
