## Description

Made de Madera is a woodworking school, professional workshop and community based in Alcorcón, Madrid. It helps people learn the craft, develop practical skills and work with wood in a shared workshop. Its training ranges from one-day projects and introductory courses to progressive cabinetmaking programmes, including a year-long master’s course with 1,400 hours of workshop practice and eight places. Courses cover cabinetmaking, tools, machinery, solid-wood projects and woodturning, with some machine and lathe access linked to membership.

For those who want to make their own work, Made de Madera offers coworking plans ranging from half-day access to resident options, with professional workshop machinery available. The company also provides team-building experiences and bespoke woodwork workshops for businesses. Through its Makers de Madera network, cabinetmakers take on custom furniture and commissions, while the Market de Madera shop offers selected tools, timber and finishes. Visitors can book a guided workshop visit, and the brand shares course dates, craft guides and workshop news through its newsletter.
