## Description

Mad Hare Press is a Latina-owned printmaking studio and small business founded by artist Liz Ortiz in Fort Collins, Colorado. Rooted in culture, story, and community, the studio creates original artwork while making printmaking and creative learning more accessible. Its practice centers on hand-carved fine art prints and draws inspiration from Mexican cultural heritage, sustainability, and the role of art in fostering healing and connection.

Mad Hare Press offers fine art prints and commissions, including pet portrait block prints and tattoo designs. The studio also hosts accessible, hands-on community workshops, including lino block printmaking, where participants can explore creative techniques in an educational setting. Artist talks, exhibitions, markets, and other events provide further opportunities to encounter the work and take part in creative expression.

Through its artwork, classes, and community activities, Mad Hare Press brings tradition and innovation together with artistic care. The studio aims to create welcoming opportunities for people to learn, celebrate heritage, and connect through art.
