The lab transforms information traditionally presented visually into accessible experiences that support understanding and engagement. Its work is guided by blind and low-vision users throughout the design process, with projects tailored to individual requirements rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. MAD Lab creates tactile maps, graphics, exhibits, and images, including trailhead maps and tactile street maps. It also provides transcription services, converting supplied text into accessible formats such as braille, large print, and audio. Consultation is available for organizations seeking expert guidance on ADA signage and ways to improve accessibility for staff, customers, and community members. The lab also offers products such as TMAP and Touching the News. Its services can help businesses address ADA accessibility needs, and the organization notes that it fulfills HIPAA-compliant requests. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/lighthousesf) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/lighthouse_sf) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/user/LFTBSF) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id24qIMizv/w/820/h/316/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792741089575) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id24qIMizv/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1792741089966) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Gigas | #453690 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Picton Blue | #55abe4 | light | ## Fonts - serif — asset _(custom)_ - serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
