## Description

MadNorSki, the Madison Nordic Ski Club, is a community organization promoting cross-country skiing and outdoor activity in Madison, Wisconsin. Its programs welcome participants from age 5 to 99, bringing children, adults, and families together to learn, train, and enjoy the outdoors. Youth offerings include Trail Kids for ages 5–11 and MadNorSki Juniors for ages 10–18, while adults can take ski lessons, join a winter race series, or participate in Nordic walking lessons and meetups. The club also organizes dryland training, social rollerski events, hikes, races, and educational activities. Its events include the Elver Park Trail Run, featuring 10K and 5K options and a free kids’ run. MadNorSki supports local skiing through trail maintenance and winter grooming, and works with Madison Parks on trails at Elver Park. Members can find club and team apparel, volunteer, donate, or attend the ski swap for used cross-country equipment. Membership helps sustain the club’s youth and adult programming and its efforts to make outdoor recreation accessible.
