## Description

The Magic City Classic is an annual HBCU football rivalry game featuring Alabama A&M University and Alabama State University in Birmingham, Alabama. First held in 1945, the event has continued without interruption and is described as the largest HBCU football game in the United States. Hosted at Legion Field, the Classic attracts around 200,000 participants and draws approximately 60,000 people to Birmingham each year, with a reported economic impact of $25 million in Alabama.

The event offers more than football. Its website provides ticket purchasing and game-day schedule information, along with details about activations, parking and shuttles, prohibited items, clear-bag rules, and lodging. Attendees can also find information about the tailgate party and tailgating. A parade is part of the celebrations, with dedicated information about its route and activities. Businesses and organizations can explore sponsorship opportunities, while media representatives can access press contacts. Visitors may sign up for email updates or contact the event and ticket offices for assistance.
