## Description

The Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjeevani Project (NDKSP), also known as PoCRA, is a strategic initiative of the Government of Maharashtra, implemented jointly with the World Bank. Its mission is to empower smallholder farmers through sustainable productivity and improved profitability. The project supports climate resilience and agricultural development in participating villages, with information on village activities, beneficiaries and project plans available through its official portal.

NDKSP provides farmers with digital services and access to financial assistance. Its DBT portal enables registration and applications for support, including Aadhaar-linked payments, while project and GIS dashboards help officials monitor activities and visualize progress across villages and administrative units. Farmers can also access agricultural guidance through Vasudha, a phone-based service offering advice on weather, crops and market prices, and Mahavistar-AI, which provides expert guidance in Marathi and English through a locally tailored AI chatbot. The portal also publishes project documents, government resolutions, guidelines, tenders, recruitment notices and monitoring information. Based in Mumbai, the project offers contact details and a grievance channel for public inquiries.
