## Description

Mahesh Foundation is an India-based nonprofit organization headquartered in Belagavi, Karnataka, dedicated to supporting children living with HIV and other underprivileged children. Founded by Mahesh Jadhav, the organization began after he encountered a young HIV-positive child with nowhere to go. Its work focuses on providing care, education, healthcare, nutrition, and opportunities for children to live with dignity.

Through its Care Home, medically challenged children receive a safe place to live and essential support. The foundation also operates educational programs, including Utkarsha Learning Center and Aadhar Vidya, offering inclusive learning for children who might otherwise lack access to schooling. Its outreach and advocacy work connects people affected by HIV with healthcare and government programs, while community support initiatives assist families and communities experiencing poverty.

Mahesh Foundation also promotes HIV/AIDS awareness among students and supports youth-led social responsibility. Individuals and organizations can contribute through donations, volunteering, and corporate social responsibility partnerships. Across its programs, the foundation aims to reduce discrimination, expand access to education and care, and help children and communities build brighter futures.
