# Mailcow

- **Website:** <https://mailcow.email>
- **Primary alias:** `mailcow.email`

## Description

It packages a range of email and collaboration components in Docker containers, providing administrators with a unified platform to deploy and manage mail services. The project is actively maintained, with regular releases that update software, fix bugs, strengthen security, and add features.

The suite incorporates components including Postfix, SOGo, Rspamd, Redis, Nginx, Unbound, and ClamAV. Updates described on the official blog cover email transport and filtering, webmail and groupware, DNS-related services, and security protections. Published changes include support for MTA-STS, SOGo URL encryption, and controls for two-factor authentication, alias sending, and Exchange ActiveSync or DAV access. The project also provides documentation, upgrade guides, stable and nightly demonstrations, and a community-supported development process through GitHub. Users can access support resources and contribute or sponsor the project; paid “Stay Awesome” licenses are also offered. Regular changelogs and administrator guidance help users maintain and update self-hosted mailcow servers.
