## Description

The Maine Campus is a historic student newspaper that has been serving the University of Maine community since 1875. As one of the oldest newspapers in the state of Maine, it has a rich and storied history. The Maine Campus is unique among student newspapers as it does not employ any non-student staff members, making it truly by students, for students.

The newspaper is funded by the student Communications Fee and ad sales, ensuring that it remains independent and dedicated to serving the needs and interests of the student body. The Maine Campus covers a wide range of topics, including campus news, community events, student government, politics, culture, sports, and more.

With its weekly highlights delivered right to your inbox, you can stay informed about the latest news, events, and developments on campus. Whether you are interested in history, current affairs, or simply want to stay connected with your university community, The Maine Campus is a reliable and informative source of news and updates.
