## Description

Mainsprings Pregnancy and Family Support Association is a charitable organization serving Calgary, Strathmore, and Airdrie, Alberta. Its purpose is to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental support and information to people who are pregnant, think they may be pregnant, or are navigating early parenthood and related family challenges. The organization aims to respect each person’s value and offer support without directing their decisions.

Mainsprings provides free, confidential services, including pregnancy information, programs and classes, practical supports, and access to information and resources. It also offers community education and post-abortion facilitator training, with related facilitator materials. Clients can request appointments at one of its three locations, and the organization shares client stories, reports, and frequently asked questions to help people understand its work and services.

Mainsprings is not a medical facility and does not provide abortions, ongoing medical care, contraceptives, or sexually transmitted infection testing; it encourages clients to seek those services from a primary care provider or licensed medical professional.
