## Description

MAINx24 is a vibrant brand that hosts a thrilling 24-hour festival in Chattanooga's Main Street and the surrounding Southside. Since its inception in 2007, this annual event has captivated the community with its diverse programming, including parades, music performances, poetry readings, and chili cook-offs. MAINx24 is a testament to the spirit and growth of the Southside, and it is organized entirely by dedicated residents, merchants, and community friends. Originally a project of CreateHere, a non-profit initiative, MAINx24 is now embraced and cherished by the locals, enabling them to showcase their incredible neighborhood. The festival owes its success to the amazing support from neighbors, businesses, and guests who actively participate. With restaurants, stores, galleries, and non-profits collaborating to put on the events, MAINx24 fosters a vibrant atmosphere where new ideas can flourish. MAINx24 welcomes all members of the public, offering a plethora of activities suitable for everyone. A schedule of events is released prior to the festival, allowing attendees to plan their day and night accordingly. It is always held on the first Saturday of December, and this year's eagerly anticipated celebration is scheduled for December 3rd, 2022. Immerse yourself in the festive charm and genuine community spirit that MAINx24 showcases in its quest to transform Chattanooga into a 24-hour city.
