## Description

The Maison de la Poésie et de la Langue française de Namur is a cultural organization dedicated to poetry, writing and the French language. Based in Namur, it brings audiences into contact with poets and literary work through a varied programme of events, including readings, musical performances, concerts, slam, conferences, theatre and creative workshops. Its activities also include writing courses, contests and opportunities for artists, such as a 2027 creation residency connecting Namur and Québec. The organization welcomes people interested in poetry at different stages of experience, with offerings for school groups, teachers and poets as well as the wider public. Its Atelier Poétique de Wallonie and documentation centre contribute to its literary and educational resources. Visitors can consult the events calendar, find practical information and purchase tickets through the organization. A subscription service offers updates about upcoming activities. By combining artistic programming, learning opportunities and documentation, the Maison supports engagement with poetry and the French language in the region.
