# Metta Welfare Association - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `maitrischool.edu.sg` ## Description Maitri School is a special education school in Singapore for children and young people aged 7 to 18 with moderate to severe autism spectrum disorder. Its guiding belief, “Bringing out the star in every child,” reflects an individualized approach designed to support each student’s needs and learning style. The school’s programme develops communication and language, social-emotional understanding, daily living skills, physical fitness, numeracy, and creative expression through the arts. Students practise practical abilities in realistic settings, such as learning to prepare simple meals, while facilitated activities help them express emotions and build relationships. Maitri also provides an integrated support system involving psychologists, speech and occupational therapists, and social workers. The school shares updates and resources for families, including termly letters, admissions information, and guidance on fees, financial assistance, transport, and uniforms. Located at 95 Jalan Eunos in a holding school, Maitri plans to move to a new campus in Pasir Ris in 2028. Its community also welcomes volunteers and donations. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Education _(under Science and Education)_ - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ ## Links - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/mettawelfareassociation) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idnIAQHPzo/w/820/h/339/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793061922812) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idnIAQHPzo/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793061923265) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Curious Blue | #1fade5 | accent | | Crown of Thorns | #74201f | dark | | Silver | #b8b8b8 | light | ## Fonts - Arial — asset _(custom)_ - Inter — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
