## Description

Makanoo is a platform in development designed to help retreat organizers find suitable venues in Europe and understand the financial implications of their choices. Organizers can describe their needs in their own words, including retreat dates, group size, location, setting, practice facilities and meal preferences. Makanoo is being built to identify potential venue matches and request rates and availability, reducing the time spent contacting venues and comparing offers.

The platform aims to put different quotes on a consistent footing, making it easier to compare venue pricing, inclusions and terms. Organizers can also explore how setting a participant price and group size may affect potential profit, based on venue costs. The site’s examples are illustrative; they do not represent actual inquiries or confirm venue availability, and the profit calculations exclude other retreat expenses and taxes.

Makanoo is intended for both first-time and experienced retreat leaders, and invites venues to get involved. The service is not yet open, and its opening date has not been announced.
