## Description

Made After Hours is a publication by Luis Medina about building a creative small business alongside a full-time job. It follows his journey using digital fabrication and shares practical lessons for makers, engineers, and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to turn ideas into projects without leaving their day jobs. The site features articles on product development, laser engraving, customized packaging, and small-business considerations such as GPSR compliance and risk assessment. Readers can also explore engineering and data-focused content, including Python workflows for automotive test data, MATLAB studies, mechanical engineering simulations, and notes on artificial neural networks and gradient descent. Other projects cover designing and building a macro pad, using Autodesk Fusion for flat patterns, and applying Agile methods beyond software teams. Made After Hours offers a free email newsletter with new articles and project updates, alongside links to Luis’s social and professional profiles. Its content combines personal experience, technical explanations, and practical resources, documenting both the creative process and the challenges of learning and making after office hours.
