## Description

Makers is a UK technology and AI education provider that has helped individuals and organisations build digital skills since 2012. Founded as Europe’s first coding bootcamp, the company now offers a broader range of training and talent services for the changing needs of the technology sector.

For employers, Makers provides apprenticeships and commercially funded programmes to develop or upskill teams in AI, software engineering, cloud engineering, quality engineering and data. Its AI Academy supports organisations adopting AI, while its Forward Deployed Engineer programme helps employers recruit, train and deploy specialists. Training can be tailored to organisational goals, with apprenticeship levy funding available for eligible programmes.

For individuals, Makers offers apprenticeships, bootcamps and academy courses designed to help learners start or advance careers in technology. Its curriculum combines technical learning with resilience and problem-solving skills, and its community includes more than 5,000 technology professionals. Makers says it focuses on candidates’ attitude and aptitude rather than background, aiming to widen access to tech careers.
