## Description

Making Cents Matter, founded by Kate in 2016, is a personal finance blog dedicated to empowering individuals and families to manage their money effectively. With a motto of "making every cent matter," the site emphasizes the importance of prioritizing spending based on personal values and life circumstances.

After navigating family challenges, including mental health issues in her children, Kate shifted her focus towards holistic financial health, recognizing how emotions and past beliefs about money shape financial behaviors. In 2024, she began training to become a Certified Financial Health Counselor, aiming to equip others with the knowledge to understand and tackle their financial challenges.

Making Cents Matter offers a variety of resources, including printables, budgeting strategies, and a resource library, all designed to help users explore their financial situations and achieve their goals. Kate's journey reflects her commitment to guiding others on their paths to financial wellness, ensuring that every financial decision aligns with what truly matters in their lives.
