# MAKTAN - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `maktan.online` ## Description MAKTAN-FMA Online is a Filipino martial arts training program dedicated to sharing and preserving the Philippines’ diverse martial arts legacy. It offers online courses, live-stream classes, events, and immersive 360-degree VR training, serving beginners through advanced practitioners as well as students working toward instructor qualifications. Members can progress through training modules at their own pace, access new material, connect with instructors and fellow practitioners, and request feedback sessions or formal level testing. The curriculum covers seven disciplines: Doble Baston, training with two weapons; Solo Baston, single-weapon skills; Dumog, standing and ground grappling; Mano Mano, empty-hand combat; Garrote, stick grappling and close-range control; Pananjakman, low-line kicking; and Laban Laro, competitive full-contact stick fighting. Each discipline follows a structured, multi-level program. Members are also invited to weekly live classes and a private online community, with opportunities to meet through MAKTAN-FMA branches. The program welcomes newcomers and experienced martial artists seeking fitness, broader knowledge, and authentic Filipino martial arts instruction. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Martial Arts _(under Sports)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Education _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCpo5Wem42g4SF_B3RK6axkg) - [facebook](https://facebook.com/MAKTAN-Filipino-Martial-Arts-355698233404) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idgEpqWSNl/w/833/h/88/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790968963859) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idgEpqWSNl/w/960/h/952/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790968964033) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Dove Gray | #666666 | accent | | Crete | #638b2e | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
