## Description

Malta Camp USA is a community-focused camp that brings young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities together with volunteers as peers. Guided by the belief that every person deserves to be loved and accepted, the organization aims to build lasting relationships and a supportive community in which everyone can affirm one another’s dignity, develop confidence, and take on new challenges. Its central program is a free, week-long summer camp, scheduled for June 21–26, 2026, at Siena College in Loudonville, New York. Campers and volunteers share activities and experiences designed to foster friendship, inclusion, and fun, with support available when needed. The camp also sustains connections beyond the summer through reunions and community engagement. Malta Camp USA invites guests to apply, volunteers to participate, and donors to help fund the program, which is offered at no charge to participants and depends on charitable support. Through these programs and relationships, the organization works to encourage authentic connection and change how people interact with individuals with disabilities.
