## Description

Welcome to the Official Page of Malta Rugby League (MRL), the governing body for Rugby League in Malta. With a small island but a big heart, MRL is dedicated to promoting and developing the sport in Malta. The national teams, including the Knights (Men), Dames (Women), and Squires (Juniors), proudly represent the country in international competitions. Since its inception in 2004, the Malta national team has shown tremendous growth, competing against teams from across Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Although they haven't qualified for the Rugby League World Cup yet, their remarkable progression has earned them recognition. In fact, Malta achieved its highest ranking in history (10th) in the International Rugby League rankings. MRL is not only dedicated to the national teams but also supports the development of Rugby League at the domestic level. They offer a range of services and partnerships, including technical sportswear, leisure and gym wear, and sleeve sponsorships, among others. With limited resources but a passionate team, Malta Rugby League is making their mark on the global Rugby League stage. Join us and support the growth of this exciting sport in Malta.
