About Maluk Timor
Description
Maluk Timor is a brand committed to improving healthcare in Timor-Leste, with a focus on the development of healthcare professionals. Through their Health Professionals Development Program, they aim to upskill doctors and other healthcare professionals, creating role models for the next generation. In collaboration with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, they offer a comprehensive Family Medicine Training Program.
This program, recognized as a Postgraduate Diploma, enhances professionalism, technical knowledge, consultation skills, self-development, leadership, and quality improvement. So far, they have successfully graduated 48 local doctors in family medicine and trained 10 clinical educators. Maluk Timor also works closely with the Timor-Leste Ministry of Health to further support their graduates and expand family medicine education.
