## Description

Stichting Manegekanjers met Pensioen is a Dutch foundation dedicated to giving retired riding-school horses and ponies a comfortable later life. It takes in animals that are too old for riding-school work but can still enjoy life without pain, and places them in a retirement home. The foundation covers their accommodation, farrier and veterinary costs, averaging about €450 per horse each month, while volunteers provide daily care and attention. The foundation organizes activities for riders and horses, including photo sessions, seasonal campaigns and other events, with proceeds supporting the horses’ retirement.
