## Description

Mangrove Jakarta is a Jakarta-based community initiative dedicated to mangrove planting, coastal restoration, and raising awareness of climate change. It encourages public involvement in addressing environmental challenges such as deforestation and coastal abrasion, while promoting practical efforts to protect ecosystems and support communities. Its work includes organizing mangrove-planting activities and collaborating with businesses, organizations, and local communities on conservation projects. The community also hosts environmental events, including webinars, and shares updates and educational content about mangrove protection and sustainability. Recent initiatives have included planting activities in locations such as Muara Gembong and Pulau Tidung Kecil, as well as MangroveFest, which brings stakeholders together to strengthen conservation efforts. Mangrove Jakarta also engages young people through programs such as the Duta Mangrove Indonesia initiative. Through fundraising, partnerships, events, and public education, the community aims to build awareness and encourage collective action for healthier coastal environments. Its website provides news about activities, campaigns, and collaborations, inviting supporters to contribute to efforts that create measurable environmental impact.
