## Description

Mannun Vartijat ry is a Joensuu-based roleplaying and live-action role-playing (LARP) association founded in 1996. It brings together people interested in tabletop and live-action games, welcoming both experienced players and newcomers. Its main activities include free, substance-free meetups held every other Saturday at Rantakylä Youth Centre Bobo. These gatherings are open to everyone, and visitors create the programme, which may feature tabletop roleplaying, LARP, workshops, board and card games, miniature games, and informal conversation. Members and visitors can also use the association’s Facebook group and Discord channels to find players or share activities. Mannun Vartijat additionally hosts Adventurers’ Lair, an open Dungeons & Dragons event at the Fantasiapelit store in Joensuu. The expanded Adventurers’ League format typically offers one or two game tables, welcomes players regardless of experience, and allows character creation using official D&D Fifth Edition material. Through its events and community, the association supports accessible, participatory roleplaying in the Joensuu area.
