## Description

Manus Bio is a biotechnology company helping businesses replace conventional ingredients, materials, and chemicals with more sustainable alternatives. Using engineered microbial cell factories and industrial biotechnology, Manus develops and manufactures molecules that have traditionally depended on petrochemical or agricultural extraction, or animal husbandry. Its approach aims to reduce resource use and environmental impact while improving traceability, quality, purity, affordability, and supply reliability.

The company’s offerings include bio-based sweeteners and ingredients for food, beverage, and other industries. Products include monk fruit sweetener, manufactured at commercial scale in the United States at Manus’s Augusta, Georgia, facility, and Yume™ M Stevia Sweetener, developed through a collaboration with Tate & Lyle. Its bioingredients include Nootkatone 70 and Valencene 80, as well as BioNootkatone developed, scaled, and manufactured for Givaudan.

Manus provides an end-to-end scale-up platform covering cell factory design and engineering, piloting, process development, and large-scale biomanufacturing. Its facilities and multidisciplinary experts support companies in moving bioalternatives from development toward commercial production, helping bring products to market efficiently and strengthen supply security.
