## Description

Maps of the Past is a publisher and retailer of high-quality reproductions of antique and historical maps. Its collection features more than 10,000 restored map prints, reproduced from authentic antique and vintage sources to preserve the original designs’ line work, typography, and texture. The maps offer a glimpse of how places and boundaries were represented in earlier eras, while bringing distinctive historical character to modern spaces.

Shoppers can explore historical city, county, state, and international maps, as well as world, topographic, mining, railroad, panoramic, transportation, and military maps, including Civil War and Revolutionary War maps. The prints are suited to home and office décor, libraries, classrooms, personal collections, research, and gifts. Maps of the Past presents its reproductions as an affordable way to enjoy cartographic history and find maps connected to particular places or periods.

The company offers free priority shipping on U.S. orders and provides customer information through its website, including order status, frequently asked questions, printing details, and shipping and return policies.
