Map the Gaps is a non-profit organization composed of marine mapping professionals, students, industry partners, and alumni from the Nippon Foundation/GEBCO Training Program at the University of New Hampshire Center for Coastal Ocean Mapping. Our goal is to raise awareness, promote diversity, and advocate for equity in ocean mapping. We achieve this by providing outreach programs to expand awareness about ocean mapping, developing partnerships with organizations to increase access to data and mapping resources, assisting mapping missions through referrals and information, and supporting international and regional efforts for high-resolution underwater mapping. Our dedicated leaders, including Tomer Ketter, Rochelle Wigley, Tim Kearns, and Neil Tinmouth, bring expertise from various fields and are committed to guiding the organization's direction and driving meaningful change.
