## Description

Mar-Anon is a supportive community designed to help individuals affected by someone else's marijuana use. Rooted in the principles of a 12-Step program, similar to those of Alcoholics Anonymous, Mar-Anon provides a safe space for families and friends seeking guidance and understanding. Its focus is on promoting emotional healing and personal growth through shared experiences and mutual support.

The organization addresses common challenges faced by members, such as feelings of enabling behavior, conflict in relationships, and the emotional toll of addiction. By encouraging self-care and personal accountability, Mar-Anon guides individuals through a journey of self-discovery, aiming to foster hope and resilience.

Membership is open to anyone impacted by another's marijuana use, and the organization hosts regular meetings, events, and resources to aid members on their path to recovery. Additionally, Mar-Anon offers literature and a store for related materials. As a non-profit organization, it operates on donations, maintaining a commitment to anonymity and confidentiality for all members.
