# Marathon d’Ajaccio - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `marathonajaccio.fr` ## Description Marathon d’Ajaccio is a road-running event that brings sport, community and the landscapes of Corsica together. Set in Ajaccio, its courses combine urban and coastal sections, with views of the Mediterranean and the Îles Sanguinaires. The event welcomes runners of different abilities, offering a full marathon, half marathon, 10 km race and an accessible 5 km sport-and-wellness course. The marathon, half marathon and 10 km are FFA-labelled and qualifying for the French Championships. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 4 and 5 April, with race day on Sunday and a weekend programme for participants and visitors. Activities include the first Running Expo in Corsica, bringing together running brands, sports partners, local artisans and producers, alongside activities and opportunities to meet. A registered, paid evening is also planned for runners, volunteers, partners and supporters.
