## Description

Marchant is a renowned brand in the world of Chinese and Oriental art. Established in 1925 by Samuel Sydney Marchant, they have gained a reputation as one of the most respected dealers in the industry. With a focus on rarity, quality, and provenance, Marchant offers an extensive range of Chinese ceramics, from Tang to Song dynasties. They also showcase the artistry of Kawase Shinobu, a master of celadon, through a retrospective exhibition. Their collection includes beautiful famille verte pieces from private collections, as well as a notable selection of Chinese jades from the Lobl Collection. Marchant specializes in Imperial Monochromes, Blue & White Underglaze, Copper-Red Imari Porcelain, and more. Their offerings extend to Japanese and Korean paintings, furniture, and catalogues. With over 95 years of experience, Marchant takes pride in their fine pieces, many of which now reside in prestigious museums and collections worldwide. Their services include buying and selling pieces and collections, commission bidding in auctions, and providing expert advice. With a dedicated team of knowledgeable professionals, Marchant continues to be a leading force in the industry.
