MAREA focuses on various materials, such as Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), Used Beverage Carton (UBC), and Local Flexibles. By incentivizing collection and providing technical assistance to recyclers, MAREA aims to optimize recycling rates and encourage the growth of recycling companies. MAREA also welcomes new members, including non-governmental organizations, waste management and recycling companies, and interested industry stakeholders, to join their cause.
