Margaret Green Animal Rescue is the largest animal rehoming center in Dorset, with premises in both Dorset and Devon. For over 55 years, we have been dedicated to finding forever homes for pets that have become homeless due to various circumstances. Our mission is to provide a safe haven for mistreated, neglected, or abandoned animals, offering them a warm bed, a caring team, and the love and respect they deserve.

We take pride in the exceptional standard of care we provide for each rescue pet. Before being placed in their new homes, our animals receive top-quality veterinary care, including vaccinations, microchipping, worm and flea treatments, and neutering. Our rehoming process is carefully designed to match each potential owner with their perfect pet, ensuring a seamless integration into their lives and families.

Animal welfare is our top priority, and every decision we make is guided by the best interests of the animals in our care. Even after adoption, we offer ongoing support, providing advice and guidance whenever needed.
