## Description

Marginalized Women Foundation works to empower marginalized Somali women and girls by expanding access to economic opportunity, inclusive education, and equitable health services. Its community-led, equity-driven approach centers the lived experiences of women and girls, builds local capacity, and develops sustainable pathways to opportunity. The foundation offers economic empowerment programs that provide skills, resources, and opportunities to support sustainable livelihoods and greater financial independence. Its health work focuses on pathways to affordable, equitable, and culturally responsive care for women, girls, and their families. Through education initiatives, it supports access to learning, literacy, and educational pathways that can help participants reach their potential. Leadership development and mentorship provide guidance and support for women and girls to lead change and shape inclusive communities. Across its work, the foundation aims to strengthen participants’ agency and leadership, enabling them to contribute to sustainable community development and advance equality free from discrimination. The organization also shares news and reports and invites supporters to get involved, donate, or subscribe to monthly updates.
