## Description

Mariana Sammartino is a Houston-based metalsmith, artist, and designer creating distinctive functional artworks for living spaces. Her practice brings together metalworking and design to produce bespoke lighting, illuminated artworks, installation art, wall and surface treatments, sculptural pieces, and other functional art objects. The work is presented across several formats, including wearable illuminated art, wall surfaces, sculpture, and the Infinito work. Sammartino describes her artworks as made by hand and designed for living, combining artistic expression with practical use.

The website introduces her artistic statement, design approach, techniques, and materials, and features selected projects, press coverage, journal entries, and events. Clients and visitors can contact the studio to inquire about illuminated artworks, surface treatments, and installation art. Based in Houston, the studio lists an Edwards Street address and provides an email contact for inquiries. The website is currently undergoing renovation, while its featured work and contact information remain available.
