## Description

Marianne Foundation for Youth Development is a registered non-profit organization based in Ibanda District, Uganda. Our mission is to empower rural youth and women to lead their communities in innovating appropriate solutions to their own challenges. Inspired by the work of Marianne Martin, a former US Peace Corps volunteer, we strive to transform the lives of women in our community. We aim to address various development challenges faced by women, such as gender-based violence, lack of education, corruption, maternal mortality, and lack of economic autonomy. Through our programs, we facilitate capacity building for women, utilizing local relationships and resources. Our core values include diversity, transparency, respect, equity, and advocacy. We believe that empowering women leads to a more peaceful and prosperous society. Join us in the empowerment of our community by supporting the Marianne Foundation today!.
