Maricopa County is the 4th largest County in the nation and the fastest-growing county in the country. With a population of approximately four and a half million people, Maricopa County is home to a diverse and thriving community. At Maricopa County, we believe in providing excellent services that help solve problems, move forward with projects, manage difficult situations, and check items off your to-do list.
With over 13,000 dedicated employees, we cover a wide range of public services including public safety, public health, flood control, education, parks, and libraries, among others. Our mission is to provide regional leadership and fiscally responsible public services to create a healthy and safe environment for our residents. We are governed by five elected district supervisors who appoint a county manager to oversee more than 40 appointed departments.
