## Description

Marie & Julien is a French creative brand centered on graphic design, illustration, and independent publishing. The site is written by Julien and combines professional insight with personal commentary, documenting creative work, freelance life, and the practical realities of running projects. Its articles cover topics such as design, communication, portfolio development, search engine optimization, website performance, publishing contracts, and the economics of creative work.

The brand also creates and sells products, notably embroidered patches celebrating internet professions. Julien shares detailed accounts of developing these products, funding them through Kickstarter, managing production and shipping, and turning the campaign into an online shop. Alongside the store, the site offers professional creative services: Julien invites clients to work with him as a freelance art director and to seek his support in launching or improving their communications. Marie & Julien presents an informal, candid voice, pairing useful guidance for designers and creators with humor and behind-the-scenes experience.
