## Description

Mariella Roovers Fine Art is the practice of Dutch artist Mariella Roovers, who is based in Germany. Her work explores emotional connections to people, places and memory, focusing on the sea, meaningful moments and portraits. Working primarily in watercolour, Roovers uses pigment, water and light to create luminous original paintings inspired by fleeting expressions, beloved places and memories worth preserving.

Each work is painted by hand with artist-grade pigments on fine art paper. The movement of water makes every painting distinctive and impossible to reproduce exactly. Through its Viewing Room, the brand presents available originals alongside their stories, dimensions, details and prices, helping visitors discover and collect works. Roovers also offers private portrait commissions, transforming a photograph, memory or significant moment into a one-of-a-kind original created for the client.

The website introduces the artist and her practice, shares collector stories, and provides information about exhibitions and collaborations. Visitors can join the Collector List for early access to selected new works, private studies and upcoming collections, as well as occasional notes from the studio.
