Through its SOLM-2024 Admiralty Court Database, MarineLives facilitates in-depth exploration of historical naval records, including a comprehensive array of deponent and ship data. The project recently hosted an engaging online seminar on April 25, 2024, aimed at doctoral students, post-docs, and early career researchers, offering attendees direct access to an extensive database of 24,000 deponents and 10,000 ships. Participants received a free database copy, practical training on navigation and usage, as well as access to 30,000 supporting images. MarineLives is committed to enhancing academic collaboration by encouraging feedback on database usability, searchability, and thematic content, thereby inviting researchers to contribute to a deeper understanding of maritime history, microhistory, and economic geography. The initiative cultivates a vibrant research community, promoting access to historical maritime data and fostering innovative scholarly inquiry. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Goldenrod | #fed966 | accent | | Mine Shaft | #252525 | dark | | Aqua Island | #abd3dd | light | ## Fonts - Verdana — asset _(custom)_ - Verdana — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
