## Description

Marinet is a dedicated community marine campaigning organization focused on protecting and restoring the health of the seas and oceans. Incorporated as a non-profit limited liability company, Marinet invites individuals and organizations from the UK and EU to become Members, fostering a collective effort for marine advocacy. At a minimal fee, members engage in various initiatives, from grassroots campaigning to raising awareness on critical marine issues.

The organization addresses key challenges such as aggregate dredging, overfishing, marine reserves, and pollution, including the growing threat of plastic waste. Marinet's pioneering report on "Conserving the Great Blue" calls for transformative changes in international marine governance to prioritize ecological integrity over exploitation. Through its campaigns, Marinet seeks to collaborate with scientists, advocates, and responsible agencies to drive real-time solutions to pressing marine environmental problems. As a voice for the marine ecosystem, Marinet stands firm in its commitment to scientific truth and effective management practices, urging action to ensure sustainable marine environments for future generations.
